Who is Brian Reed?
Brian Reed is reporter who lives in New York, who was emailed by John to help with the mysterious cases that he believed have been overlooked and hidden by both the police and people in Woodstock.
Who is John B. McLemore?
John B is a resident who lives in Woodstock, Alabama and works at an antique clock store. He called into a radio show hosted by Brian, to help with the cases that are occurring in his county. He believes he should have done more in his life than what he did. He wants to figure out the reasoning behind the death of a boy named Dylan.
Why is Brian in S-Town?
Brian is S-Town to speak to Jake Goodson so that he could hear his side of the story that Jake told John. He entered the county with the intent of not talking to authorities but having a low profile.
Briefly talk about time in this podcast episode
This podcast was written over the course of many years between two main character, John to Brian. There was communication between email then a year or two later they met in person. After, they met in person they had to go back in time to old newspapers where they had to look at information from years within the incidents that occurred.

Who is Ysrael? Why is he "famous"?
Ysrael was famous because he was known to have an ugly face. His face was ripped at a young age by a pig, so he is forced to wear a mask everyday. Everyone in his city is curious to know how his face looks without it on.
Why are Yunior and Rafa in the campo?
They are in campo because their mother can afford or have time to take care of them during the summer. She is busy she send them to campo with their uncle so that they are occupied.
What is Rafa and Yunior's relationship like?
While, they are in their home city they do not have a good/healthy relationship. They are constantly bickering and Rafa doesn't rarely spend time with as much as he do when they are at campo during the summer. During. the summer they have a more intimate relationship together.
